Amit has over 25 years experience, 15 years of “start-up” experience and 10 more years of public accounting and private industry experience. Amit was the CFO of two successful start-ups, ZeitNet, Inc. and PipeLinks, Inc., which were acquired by Cabletron Systems and Cisco Systems, respectively. In addition, Amit is currently the CFO and member/ partner of two venture funds, Anthelion Capital, L.L.C. (since 1996) and Anthelion Capital II, L.P. (since 1999). In his role as a venture investor, Amit has funded nearly 80 companies thus far and assisted several in a way that OutForce is chartered to do.
Shahbaz has over 25 years of public accounting, start-ups and industry experience. Prior to joining OutForce, Shahbaz was the CFO of a Silicon Valley start-up. Prior to that Shahbaz was with Coopers and Lybrand for 8 years where he managed and serviced a portfolio of clients that comprised of start-ups, medium sized and public companies in the high technology industry. Shahbaz also has 3 years of corporate work experience working for two multinational companies in various management positions. Shahbaz is a CPA and has a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Washington. He also has a Masters in Commerce from Bombay University and a Degree in Cost Accounting from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants in India.
Bala Balakrishnan brings more than 25 years of experience in the field of accounting, start-ups, finance and administration to OutForce LLC. Most recently, Bala Balakrishnan served as the General Manger Finance and Operations of KLEER Industries Inc. a manufacturer of computer monitors and display technology that utilized the direct catalog marketing, Internet retail and home shopping channels exclusively, where he helped the company during growth from initial revenue up to $30 Million in sales. At KLEER Industries, Bala was also instrumental in building up the finance and administration infrastructure of the company as it expanded its operations overseas. Previously, he held various senior financial and accounting positions at leading technology companies, like BPL-Sanyo Group, a $1.2 Billion Joint Venture, manufacturing consumer electronics, consumer appliances and refrigeration. He is also worked for a Service provider in the area of wireless telecom and software services.
Sanjay has over 12 years experience, 4 years public accounting experience at Ernst & Young and over eight years of Industry experience. He has knowledge of financial management, corporate finance, financial regulatory reporting requirements and cost accounting experience. He is a CPA and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from San Jose State University.
Rhonda has over 20 years experience in the high-tech industry, holding accounting, finance, human resources and administration roles. She has worked with Digital Equipment (DEC), SiByte, a semiconductor startup (acquired by Broadcom), and at PA Semi (acquired by Apple), where she was Senior Manager, Business Operations, and managed the accounting, finance, human resources and business operations functions.
